"From today onwards we will be operating under a single family brand and no longer under two: effective immediately, we will be called United Grinding", Sandro Bottazzo, head of business development & marketing, told the more than 800 attendees and upwards of 2,000 live stream viewers. With the words: "We are the industry experts and want to enthuse customers with our solutions. We are technology leaders and want to expand our position with innovative products and services," he made the high standards of UNITED GRINDING clear.
The enthusiastic feedback from visitors was primarily focused on the new standard machine design of all eight brands of the United Grinding Group – because design and functionality complement hardware and software and are important signs of innovation. But that's not the only reason for the modern look of the new machine design. It offers a number of additional ergonomic advantages, such as the height-adjustable control panel, the enlarged field of vision in the machine interior, improved working space access and foot clearance and an extremely compact design with improved surfaces and service openings, which are maintenance-friendly and easy to clean. These advantages will enable customers to generate additional added value and so increase their competitiveness.
The three world innovations presented for the first time - the modern J600 surface and profile grinding machine from the Jung brand, the S11 cylindrical grinding machine for micro components from Studer and the Helitronic Vision 400 high-performance tool grinding machine from Walter – aroused especially great interest.
