As part of its ongoing investment in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education for students around the world, Siemens PLM Software is now offering a free student license for its Tecnomatix Jack software.
Tecnomatix Jack is Siemens’ human simulation and modeling software for ergonomic analysis of human performed tasks in manufacturing facilities. The goal of this program is to help engineers doing research in the field of ergonomics and workplace safety learn how software can help them perform human factors analysis virtually, and thereby take corrective steps before starting production. Students can download a free 12-month Tecnomatix Jack student license by filling out the form here.
With this license, students can create digital human models, conduct what-if analysis for different workplace designs, and perform certain human performance analysis. Students need to install Jack on a Windows PC.
The software is non-transferable and cannot be used for industrial projects, paid services or any other commercial purpose.
Siemens PLM Software also offers academic licenses with more capabilities to schools at a discounted price. For more information, contact our Academic Team.
