Rollomatic Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of Rollomatic SA, based in Mundelein, Illinois, with two satellite offices in New England and Los Angeles. Engineers offer extensive cutting tool grinding experience and are easily accessible for application assistance with machines, tool design and development, test grinding, estimated cycle times and trouble shooting. Rollomatic has an extensive range of precision grinding machines for blank preparation and tool grinding. The GrindSmart 620XS, is capable of grinding down to diameter 0.05mm (.002") using nano interpolation technology. The 620XS also features special machine functions to produce medical and surgical tools, such as medical drills, taps and reamers. A newly developed horizontal magazine loading system enables the 620XS to grind rotary cutting tools medium to micro-size in carbide, HSS and other material in one clamping. The magazine loader allows automatic loading of tools up to 16" in length with a 1,000 piece capacity for lights out operation. The CNC148P4, Cylindrical Grinding Machine has been designed with patented pinch grinding technology, which consists of the simultaneous engagement of a roughing and a finishing grinding wheel for cylindrical grinding operation, while the blank is guided on a V-block system. It is ideal for blank preparation of almost any type of medical device which requires cylindrical grinding. Diameter range .001" (.025mm) to 5/8" (16mm).
